Jumpstart – Children’s Illustration Workshop

This 2 day workshop was a great introduction to what illustration is all about. I was told that illustration is not about having a great style, but is rather about being able to successfully convey messages through visuals. The topic for our group, headed by Pierre (from luxembourg) and Tarun (Co-ordinator of Graphic Design, NID), was ‘Money’. I focused on the subjectivity of money – placing a 1000/- note under different contexts. Please give feedback on what you think the illustrations mean to you.
